Awnings Netherlands held open house | Attention to craftsmanship

Markiezen Nederland BV has moved, and to a large business premises in Culemborg. A result of the success this still young company has achieved in recent years. On November 22, Johan Hol and Aart van den Berg, owners of Markiezen Nederland, held an Open House for customers, suppliers and interested parties. The turnout was great, as no less than 400 visitors managed to find their way to Culemborg.

The beautiful building of Marquesas Netherlands in Culemborg is located in a beautiful, easily accessible location.

Pleasantly surprised

"A large proportion of our customers were pleasantly surprised by our delivery program," says Johan Hol. "During the Open House we showed a number of awning products that are apparently relatively unknown. Of course we made a good impression with our new corrugated side awning made in aluminum. But our round awnings and fixed awnings and canopies also enjoyed plenty of attention. And Full color printed cloth stretched on an awning was also a real eye opener for many visitors."

Marquees Netherlands managed to inspire several customers during the Open House. "That it was pleasant is evident from the fact that we were able to wave goodbye to the last customers in the wee hours," laughs Aart van den Berg. "So you see how nice an informal but informative gathering over a snack and a drink can be!"

While enjoying a snack and a drink, the attending public was able to learn about the latest news in the marquise field.

Full of confidence for the future

For Johan Hol and Aart van den Berg and their team, the focus is now on participating in Polyclose 2020. "There we can give our traditional product even more attention and broaden the field of vision of the awning professional," said Johan Hol. "For us it is the second time we are at Polyclose and once again it will become clear that the awning is still a hot item, which is a real enrichment for almost every facade. We therefore look to the future with confidence. In any case, the past Open House has given us a boost to work towards 2020 with fresh energy!"
