CORNELS: 'The best-selling folding roof model redesigned'

Horecava, the well-known large hospitality trade fair, had the scoop: the CORNELS label launched there in early January the completely renewed folding roof NAVI in the NEXT GENERATION line. A logical place if you consider that NAVI is the most sold model folding roof for the hospitality industry!

Feedback dealers implemented

The NEXT GENERATION NAVI Pro series was presented in the booth of CORNELS' dealer Palmo. The year-round terrace is a very interesting product for hospitality entrepreneurs, so the stand was well visited. On the last day of this four-day exhibition in the RAI Amsterdam, CORNELS organized its dealer day in this stand. "The renewed folding roof was very positively received by our dealers," says director Cornelis Nieuwenhuis. "Obviously the product improvements and certainly the fact that CORNELS takes dealer feedback very seriously and implements it. Dealers clearly feel heard."

Dennis Griffioen, engineer at CORNELS, is also present at the Horecava to welcome dealers and inform them about the technical aspects of NEXT GENERATION NAVI. "Thanks to the novelties, the quality of our folding roof has been greatly increased, while the standards were already high. The modifications provide both outstanding technology and sophisticated design. The difference is in the detail." 

Recognizable sophisticated design

"The innovations make our folding roof instantly recognizable: that's a CORNELS!" says Cornelis enthusiastically. Dennis adds: "Characteristic is the new geometric shape of the ribs. We specially designed the integrated, dimmable LED lighting in these unique ribs to provide beautiful, indirect atmospheric lighting. The light that now radiates onto the fabric instead of straight down creates an extra attractive setting for a hospitality venue and also for residential projects."

Aesthetics and convenience

The CORNELS engineer lists even more inventions from NAVI: "Think of the double-walled gutter so that sealant is not necessary when attaching glass walls in the canopy, for example; an additional profile for the spigot frame, making the frame even better integrated into the system. But also consider the cover plate for the rainwater drain for aesthetics." NEXT GENERATION NAVI appears in the Pro series with a projection up to 7 meters and in the Elite series up to 10 meters of projection. 

Product development for the Western European market

"As a Dutch label, we design our revamped products specifically for the Western European market in the medium to high end," says CORNELS' managing director. "This results in a regeneration of products that make outdoor living more enjoyable. It ensures that both hospitality operators and also outdoor enthusiasts are independent of the weather."

Even more novelties

The Dutch label is not standing still. "Soon the line will expand with NEXT GENERATION ALYA in the Elite series. That will be the best tilting slat roof."
