Platform on sun and daylight control, shutters, patio covers and closures
Solar-powered roller shutters and screens offer a smart and sustainable sun protection solution. BC Sunprotection, exclusive distributor of Bubendorff in the Benelux, provides a wide range of innovative products that are not only environmentally friendly, but also increase home comfort.
One of Budendorff's most revolutionary innovations is the iD4 Solar roller shutter with tilting slats. This model combines the advantages of a roller shutter with those of an exterior blind. Users can control how much light and air gets in without sacrificing security or privacy. "With this roller shutter, you don't have to choose between blackout and daylight," says Jo Blommé, owner of BC Sunprotection. "The tilting slats let light through without letting heat in, keeping your home pleasantly cool."
The slats can be fully closed for maximum insulation in winter, or set half-open to let in a light glow of daylight. This allows ventilation even on hot days without the sun raising the temperature in the house. At night, even when the roller shutter is tilted, the automatic locking feature ensures that the house remains as secure as with a classic roller shutter.
In addition to functionality, durability is also at the heart of Bubendorff. The roller shutters are tested for 30,000 up and down movements, which is three times longer than the industry standard. This means that a Bubendorff roller shutter not only lasts for years, but is also low maintenance.
Design is also an important consideration. The compact box with no visible screws provides a sleek finish, while the solar panel is discreetly integrated into the design. As a result, the shutters remain visually appealing and fit into both modern and classic architectural styles. "Bubendorff combines functionality with aesthetics," said Blommé. "Our customers appreciate that their shutters are not only smart and durable, but also look beautiful."
Security is another plus point: the integrated automatic lift protection ensures that the roller shutter offers additional protection against burglary.
In addition to shutters, Bubendorff also offers solar-powered zipscreens. This type of screen keeps out sunlight and heat without completely blocking the view outside. The fabric is held tightly in the guides, providing optimal wind stability and long life.
Zipscreens are ideal for windows, pergolas and conservatories. They not only regulate light, but also provide privacy and protect against insects. "The fabric filters the light you get during the day and it avoids prying eyes," Blommé explains. "All these arguments are of course used by all suppliers, but it is only when you start looking under the 'hood' that you find the real novelties that make Budendorff products so special."
The absolute high-end shutter from Bubendorff, is ROLAX, the solar shutter specially designed for conservatories, verandas and glass roofs, allowing the user to enjoy a comfortable indoor climate all year round. Rolax goes beyond where an ordinary fabric sunshade stops.
Whether a roller shutter with tilting slats or a solar-powered zipscreen, Bubendorff's products, supplied by BC Sunprotection, combine design, technology and sustainability. "We offer solutions that save energy, last a long time and increase living comfort," concludes Blommé. "With wireless installation, smart controls and a warranty of up to 10 years, you are assured of a product that is both practical and future-proof."
