ALUKON's Zip Tex zipper screen system makes the mechanic's life a lot easier, explains sales manager Benelux Hans Becks: "The guide has an attractive, slender appearance. Installation is easy thanks to the fact that the guide is two-piece. Servicing the system or changing the fabric in case of service is also easy. The system is so stable that ALUKON supplies the Zip Tex up to a maximum area of no less than 18 m2. Those who want to go bigger can opt for a coupled version."
ALUKON offers three extruded cabinets in straight, angled and round versions, in various sizes and in a RAL color of your choice. Those who would like a built-in cabinet are at their beck and call. "ALUKON's expertise in built-in systems comes from developments in the shutter field," Becks notes. "Much attention is paid to seamless integration in or on the facade, which is translated into the Zip Tex. Another nice feature is that the bottom rail, when raised, disappears almost entirely into the casing. That makes Zip Tex very suitable for situations with outward-turning windows, where only limited space is available above the sashes."
The Raff-E is delivered turnkey, as a working system in a casing, with two guides included, in one box.
The Raff-E exterior blind was also developed by ALUKON with ease of installation in mind. "Measurement, installation and service are as easy as with roller shutters," Becks emphasizes. On site, the fitter only needs to put the casing with the legs of the side cover on the guides. Once mounted on the facade - exactly as you mount a roller shutter - it's just a matter of connecting and putting it into operation," he explains.
Thanks to a service cover that can be opened with the loosening of two screws, the Raff-E offers quick and convenient access to the interior. "Service work is thus made easier, which is also useful when large sizes are involved," Becks continues. "Consider that the Raff-E can be delivered up to 400 cm in width and 450 cm in height. Then it's nice to know that assembly and service can go smoothly." ALUKON hopes to cater to mechanics with the assembly-friendly Raff-E who are especially experienced in installing shutters and screens. "With ALUKON blinds, any blinds technician can work in an easy and familiar way," concludes Becks.
