ROMAZO BRANCH DAY: NOVEMBER 4, 2019

Together with Romazo Manufacturers and Suppliers, Romazo Professionals organizes on Monday, November 4, 2019, already for the fourth time the Romazo Branchedag, which this time will be held in the Rijtuigenloods in Amersfoort. On that occasion, the companies affiliated with Romazo Manufacturers and Suppliers will provide a supplier fair with booths on the meeting square, centrally located in the Rijtuigenloods.

The committee that organizes the Romazo Branch Dayeert, consists of André Janssen of Guillaume Janssen BV from Zwolle, Frank van Kerkwijk of Ambiance IJmond, Dennis Schoormans of Schlappi Marquees and Romazo branch manager Jeroen de Roos and has been involved in the organization since January of this year. André Janssen, involved in the organization since the first Romazo Branchedag, believes it is important that in addition to a good substantive program there is plenty of room to meet each other. “The Branchedag offers every opportunity to perpetuate existing contacts in an informal atmosphere, but also to make new contacts. This is why we have set aside a lot of time to visit the stands of the manufacturers and suppliers present.” Dennis Schoormans of Schlappi adds that a conscious decision was made to keep those booths limited in size. “The personal contact is paramount during the Branch Day rather than the products.”

Romazo branch manager Jeroen de Roos emphasizes that the cooperation between Romazo Professionals and Romazo Manufacturers and Suppliers is excellent. “The committee has met a number of times to meet, including once at the Rijtuigenloods to sample atmosphere and coordinate location and plans. Other than that, the meetings are by phone.”

The ideas of the committee members do not vary greatly, Frank van Kerkwijk emphasizes. “For example, all committee members would like visitors to also be able to learn something during the day. Hence a discussion is planned with a panel of experts, but emphatically also with the audience. The intention is to hold a thermometer in the hall and measure the temperature of the economic climate. The past year so far has been hectic and every company is struggling to get all the orders out the door. That goes for dealers, but, of course, also for manufacturers and suppliers.”

The organizational commission is very pleased that Jacco Vonhof has been found willing to speak during the Romazo Branchedag. Vonhof, chairman of MKB Nederland, is a self-made man, anno now director-owner of a large cleaning company. He started almost 25 years ago as a window cleaner with no more than a van, a ladder and a bucket. From his experience and his function as chairman of MKB Nederland he will inform the attendees during Branchedag about the opportunities and threats in 2020.

During the Romazo Branch Day, the Zonvakker of the Year will also be announced again. “There is already a lot of voting for the nominees,” said Jeroen de Roos. “If you haven't voted yet, we from Romazo urge you to cast your vote quickly!”

During the 2017 Industry Day, Victor Mids demonstrated that customers can also be minf*cked.

In September, invitations for the Romazo Branch Day will be sent to members of Romazo Professionals and digital registration is already available. Deelname is free, but companies must register in advance.

Non-members of Romazo Professionals are also welcome to attend the Branch Day. Companies that are not members of Romazo Professionals can register at info@romazo.nl and will receive an invitation.

Prior to the public part, both Romazo Manufacturers and Suppliers and Romazo Professionals will have their own general members’ meeting starting at 10:00 a.m. in the morning. The program of the Romazo Branch Day begins at noon.
