This sunshade—the result of more than 50 years of outdoor expertise from the German company LEINER GmbH, now part of the Gibus Group—is a freestanding model that, thanks to patented Sunrain technology and its extremely stable construction, protects customers not only from the sun but also from heavy rain. Gastro Sunrain features a self-supporting aluminum structure that can be anchored to concrete or placed in a floor bracket; optionally, the product can also be supplied with an elegant structure featuring concrete weights, to be placed at the base of the frame for added stability. This model is also equipped with a waterproof PVC fabric that can cover areas up to 40 m², expandable to 135 m² when using multiple modules (up to a maximum of 3 units).

With an electric motor included even in the standard version, this solution can be further enhanced with the Wind Protect System (WPS), enabling the structure to withstand wind force 8.
