We are proud to announce that FIRST BASE Ground Screws has successfully completed the recertification audit according to EN 1090-1, carried out by TÜV Nord. This certification forms the backbone of our production processes and reaffirms that our screw foundations meet strict requirements in terms of structural safety, traceability, and consistent quality.
The EN 1090 standard is the mandatory framework for load-bearing steel and aluminum structures within the European Union. Our EN 1090-1 certification confirms that all ground screws are manufactured according to a certified Factory Production Control (FPC) system, in accordance with strict procedures and technical specifications – including the requirements of EN 1090-2 for steel structures. This means that every screw is fully CE and UKCA marked.
These conformity markings are not optional: every load-bearing steel component installed in the EEA or UK must bear them. By choosing certified FIRST BASE products, installers avoid liability, safety, and compliance risks—both during and after construction.
At FIRST BASE, we choose to uphold these high standards. This allows us to offer installers and builders a solid, compliant, and reliable foundation—from garden sheds to tiny houses and from solar panels to recreational facilities.
