With the opening of its modern 10,000 m² production facility in Istanbul, CORNELS is also launching the further development of its most successful product line: the CORNELS® Elite series.
The CORNELS® Elite series has been designed as a well-thought-out, modular concept in which each item fits in perfect harmony with the next, regardless of which element is added. This offers renowned CORNELS dealers, who are active in the exclusive outdoor lifestyle sector, virtually unlimited possibilities to serve their customers.
Uniquely, all canopies in the CORNELS® Elite series feature the same frame. Thanks to the modular design, CORNELS® dealers can create canopies in a system with both a tilting and a retractable slatted roof.
In addition to technical features such as coating after cutting for maximum corrosion resistance, double-walled gutters for separate rainwater drainage and cable routing, and of course the Somfy Io control system, the CORNELS® Elite series offers many options. These include seaside coating, integrated LED lighting, and slat insulation. Extensions with various glass systems are of course also available in the CORNELS range.
The maximum dimensions per module are substantial. The ALYA CORNELS® Elite tilting slatted roof has a maximum projection of no less than 813 cm and a width of 450 cm. For the retractable POLLUX CORNELS® Elite series louvre roof, the maximum dimensions are 732.5 cm projection and a width of 400 cm / 665 cm projection and a width of 450 cm.
The high-end label from Nieuw-Vennep offers waterproof louvered roofs (with the louvers in the closed position) with the Elite series 100%. In addition, CORNELS provides a warranty for wind loads of up to 12 Bft on the Elite series. The fact that these luxury louvered roofs are extremely strong is also proven by the warranty for snow loads of up to (the tested load of) 356 kg/m2.
