Gibus Pergolas: new wall-mounted floodlights with a Wall-Washing effect, for even more impressive outdoor environments.

Already equipped with LED lighting to furnish the area under the structure both functionally and atmospherically in the evening and night hours, Gibus' bioclimatic models and 90° pergolas can now also be equipped with externally mounted floodlights that illuminate adjacent areas of the pergola.

At sunset, effective outdoor lighting improves the quality of life, highlights the beauty of architectural volumes or natural environments and creates atmospheric environments that make the surroundings more inviting, picturesque and exclusive. This is especially true in well-equipped outdoor spaces, where a well-coordinated lighting concept can increase both the usability and aesthetic value of the entire outdoor space. Gibus, one of the leading European players in high-end outdoor design, is well aware of this. The company has made improving the quality of life in outdoor spaces its core mission. Known for solutions that promote sustainable well-being - from pergolas and bioclimatic pergolas to awnings and zip screens - Gibus has continuously developed the illuminated elements of its product lines over the years.

Today, the company is introducing a further innovation in this area, specifically for its 90° pergolas and top models of bioclimatic pergolas. These solutions, which are already equipped with directional LED lighting systems that illuminate the area below the structure, can now be extended to include external lighting. Gibus now offers the option of equipping these pergolas with special wall lights. With a minimalist and bright design in line with Gibus' style, these lights are able to illuminate the exterior sides of the pergolas and the immediately adjacent areas of the structure.

With clean, regular geometric lines, the new spotlights fit seamlessly into a groove in the profile, with no visible mounting systems. They are mounted on the outside of the pergola leg, about 55 cm above the edge of the gutter. The floodlights have a double light output: each light can contain two LEDs - one pointing up and one pointing down - allowing illumination in both directions, or only in one direction, depending on the desired effect.

Thanks to the Wall-Washing effect, the sconces spread light evenly over the surface of the pergola. They can be painted in the same color as the structure to create a subtle, elegant and harmonious look, or in contrasting shades to give the outdoor space a bold personality. The lamps feature white light with a color temperature of 4000 K, but can also be supplied with warm light (3000 K) upon request.

These models are specially designed to integrate the gutter within the leg, separating the water drainage from the electrical cables that power the floodlight - all in favor of maximum safety."
