Luxaflex® presents new collection of curtains

Automatically controlled with smart home system PowerView^® Automation

Luxaflex®^®, the market leader in window coverings, is adding to its wide range an entirely new collection: curtains. With the introduction of curtains, Luxaflex® offers^®, in addition to well-known products such as wood blinds, roller blinds and Duette^® Shades, now an even more complete offering. The curtains come with the smart control system PowerView^® Automation, which allows the curtains to open and close automatically. For now, the collection is available exclusively at Luxaflex® Gallery dealers.

A new step

The new collection was developed in collaboration with Hunter Douglas sister company Artex. Marketing Manager Jaap-Jene Langevoord explains, "When you think of Luxaflex®, you think of everything in the field of window coverings. The range was already very large, but curtains were still missing and we noticed that there was a lot of demand for them. All the fabrics in the curtain collection are also available as Roman blinds, with the exception of the Vayen fabric. The combination of a curtain and matching folding curtain creates a harmonious and elegant whole in the interior."

"Hey Google, open the curtains!"

Via PowerView^® Automation the curtains can be paired with systems such as Apple Home Kit, Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Nest. The curtains can also be controlled via the PowerView^® Automation-app or the Pebble^®-remote. Once the PowerView^® Automation system is activated, you can make the curtains move according to a self-set program. This adds convenience and it can even help you wake up more easily. Thanks to remote control, it also makes your home feel safer.

Wide range of colors and fabrics

Room-high curtains add warmth to any room and accentuate windows. In addition, these window coverings promote acoustics in the home. The collection consists of 128 fabrics and numerous colors and fabrics, responding to current home trends. A variety of color and fabric combinations are possible, from deep colors in solid materials to linen tones in soft fabrics. Two new fabrics stand out: trendy velvet fabric Vayen and blackout dim-out fabric Harper.

From transparent to blackout

The collection offers high fabric qualities, ranging from open and transparent fabrics (filtering light) to dense and light-blocking versions (for a darkened space). The curtains are fully custom-made and, if desired, also lined. Thus, a suitable curtain is available for every home. For the bedroom, for example, a luxurious, blackout or lined fabric is very suitable.
