Heroal has developed its external textile sun protection systems so that the requirements for efficient sun protection in modern residential and commercial construction can be met in a variety of ways. The screen fabric repels the sun, keeping the interior temperature pleasantly cool on hot days, while allowing daylight to penetrate the interior unabated. In addition, the exterior sun protection can be aesthetically adapted to the building envelope.  

Heroal's range includes various screen systems for windows and doors, where the screen fabric is guided through a guide, a fine stainless steel cable or unobtrusively through the bottom frame by means of a zipper. Complete integration of a screen system into curtain walls is also possible. Furthermore, the screen systems - applied horizontally or vertically as desired - can also be used with terrace roofs. 

For maximum design freedom and color match with the building envelope, the aluminum components of heroal's system solutions are coated with the weather-resistant heroal hwr powder coating, which is available in numerous colors. 

Zipscreen technology

The zipscreen system heroal VS Z is an exterior sun protection system that is also very suitable for tall buildings with high wind loads. This is of course mainly due to the fact that the fabric is fixed in the side guides by the zipper technology. The high-quality fabric range consists of translucent and opaque screen fabrics. Because with a zipper screen there is no gap between the fabric and the window frame, the heroal VS Z in combination with the heroal blockout textile 100% enables blackout. At the same time, UV radiation is also filtered to 100%. 

With over 250 different cloths in the standard portfolio, heroal offers many design options. Because the fabric, depending on the quality chosen, is made of coated fiberglass or high tensile strength polyester, it is water- and dirt-repellent, breathable and UV- and mold-resistant. According to heroal, it is therefore a solution that ensures durability and a high degree of functionality, even in the long term. Heroal's cloth portfolio is fully stocked, enabling short delivery times. 

A sustainable system solution with flexible design freedom

To match the shading system in color to the building envelope, the aluminum side guides, casing and bottom rail of the heroal VS Z can be powder-coated at the factory in any desired RAL color, in the exclusive colors of Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier or they can be provided with the innovative heroal SD surface finish. In this way, all the advantages of the heroal hwr powder coating can be exploited to the full, heroal emphasizes, contributing to the longevity of the system along with the high material stability of the aluminum used.
