Chances are that visitors to Bella Vista Verandas in Helmond will be presented with a fun fact upon entering. Jolijn Jalink, responsible for marketing and communications, has to laugh and says: "We often ask our guests why they think we have chosen the names Sirius, Polaris and Aludra for our range of verandas and sliding glass walls? Usually they don't know the answer, but then when we say that all our products are named after stars, the penny drops."
"After all, there's really nothing more beautiful than a starry sky. You want to enjoy that!", Jalink continues. "And that can also be done sitting under a veranda roof or behind a sliding glass wall. Enjoyment, as far as we are concerned, is the essence of the concept of outdoor living. You want to be one with nature by involving the garden in the interior. Moreover, you create more square meters of living space. In addition, since the corona period, there is more need than ever for - sight of - the outdoors. People still work a lot from home, so that home office needs to be open. It partly explains the increasing demand for our products."
One product Jolijn Jalink would like to highlight is the Sirius aluminum sliding door. "With this door, a veranda is transformed into a real garden room in no time," she explains. "With the Sirius, a patio roof can be enjoyed four seasons, including winter! This is because the facade is five times better insulated than an ordinary glass wall, making end users less dependent on weather conditions for use."
Jalink explains that the Sirius has four different locking options, namely a simple slide lock, a key lock, a lever lock and a trade lock with multi-point locking. In addition, she points out the built-in decorative strip. "That is attached between the glass and creates a chic look."
The rail for the Sirius is available with three, four or five tracks. This allows the sliding glass wall to be designed in different ways. The façade is available with 10 mm safety glass and 20 mm double safety glass 4.12.4. Tinted and opal glass are also an option. The maximum width dimension of a panel is 1250 mm and installation height is possible up to 3000 mm. "Whichever variant it becomes, you will always keep a view of the stars from home!", laughs Jolijn Jalink.
