International design recognition for Harol continues
Awning Expert Harol once again wins two Red Dot Design Awards 2026. Both the Versuz Linea and the new Coolina under-roof awnings have been awarded the renowned Red Dot label, an international seal of quality for products that excel in design, innovation and user experience. Awarded by an international jury of design experts, the prizes are among the most competitive design awards in the world.
With this double award, Harol confirms its strong international design reputation. Earlier this year, the company also won awards including a German Design Award and the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026.
The Versuz Linea, Harol's minimalist horizontal pergola, builds on a string of impressive international design awards with this Red Dot Award 2026. The Red Dot Award is the icing on the cake. With its completely horizontal fabric, this pergola is particularly suitable for low-rise buildings, extensions with limited mounting space and contemporary architecture. Slim profiles, a tightly stretched fabric and the reliable Harol ZIP system provide a maximum shade area of up to 25 m2 and a perfect balance of light, shade and comfort. The optional Variovolant Solar, subtly integrated into the front frame, also provides additional shelter from low sun and more privacy. Thanks to full solar operation, additional wiring is not required.

Also, the Coolina underroof awnings, one of Harol's latest innovations, has been awarded a 2026 Red Dot Award. With Coolina, the fabric is placed directly under the glass and is thus optimally protected from rain and wind. This results in longer life, less maintenance and makes Coolina a sustainable solution for verandas, skylights and patio covers. The reliable Harol ZIP system keeps the fabric perfectly taut, even over large areas of up to 30 m2.
In addition to the compact and timeless design, smart technical innovations are one of Coolina's main strengths. For example, the patented ClickFit fabric fastening profile enables fast and efficient fabric replacement without having to dismantle the entire failure base. This saves a lot of time during maintenance and after-service. Thanks to its assembly-friendly design, innovative technology and sophisticated workmanship, Coolina offers clear advantages for installers and end users alike.
On July 7, the Harol team will proudly receive the prestigious Red Dot Awards 2026 at the official award ceremony. “This double Red Dot Award feels like a crowning achievement. That both the Versuz Linea and a recent innovation like the Coolina are awarded underlines the strength of our design vision. We develop products in which design, comfort and sustainability come together. We are proud that this approach is recognized internationally,” said Joris Draelants, technical director of Harol.
