HYLAS

Hylas is a true family business, founded in 1978 by Mr. Willemsen senior. In the beginning Hylas was a one-man business with a limited stock, but even then customization was paramount. Hylas has a keen eye for detail and sets high standards for its own production, in order to meet all the diverse customer requirements.

Over the years, the company has grown. The one-man business has developed into a modern company, with at its base a large team of permanent employees. Thanks to years of experience, extensive machinery and a wide palette of hundreds of colors, a suitable answer can be given to almost any question.

Meanwhile, the second generation is at the helm. Pieter and Vincent Willemsen had already been working in the company for some time and became the owners of Hylas in the 1990s. Since March 2011, after more than 33 years of independence, Hylas BV has joined the CRH Group, an international partnership of companies in building materials.

Sustainability is paramount. Residual streams are separated and reused wherever possible. All materials used can be recycled.

Hylas is rooted in the blinds industry and purified in the trade. Decades of experience is a rich source of inspiration, but at the same time innovation is crucial. Hylas therefore continues to develop itself, always looking for techniques that allow it to do things differently, smarter and more efficiently.
